Kiasuson, what exactly happens during investiture? Care to share... Looks like boys had lot of fun during camp!

      kiasuson:
Do not worry...You will be surprise by your DS after the camp. They will be fully bond into the Rafflesian community. I was surprise by the boys last year after the camp and during the investiture. Enjoy the CCA talks and the investiture.

Some TNS Geppers are in I, J, P and Q. Cohort size 455. No taupok incidents. So glad about that! But he's so exhausted now after his 2 night camp. Said he slept less than 10 hours. From his sharing, I could tell that the kids had a fantastic camp and excellent bonding activties, though they're starved of sleep and the fright night was too much for some youngsters. :yikes:

Highlight of the whole week, or perhaps their whole ri journey is prob tomorrow. My source told me that at the ceremony few years ago, the principal actually pinned the badge for every boy on the stage. Wonder if it's the same tomorrow. :?

Is the cohort size really 455 ? I spoke to a very authoritative person who told me it was 450 ! Perhaps after some very hard appealing by some parents, there are 5 blessed ones given the opportunity to bust the cohort size ?

No, the principal only pinned the badge on a sec1 rep. on stage. The form teachers will pin the badge on the rest of the students in their respective class.

Parents will be shown a video of the students taken during the orientation/camp.

The ceremony is a formal one. The Principal, together with some of the teachers will dorn a robe (harry porter style  ) and enter the hall.....shall not reveal too much. At the end of the event, I'm sure most parents will be filled with pride about their son's initiation as a Rafflesian! šŸ˜„

455 was the figure mentioned by HOD PE/CCA today. When we checked the class list, there were 454 names listed.

The cohort size will increase every year. This year, my son class has one more Singaporean student. He has spent 8 years in Jakarta and just came back Singapore last year. In Year 3, there will be a batch of oversea scholars joining them. In year 5, there will be some 'O' level students joining them.

Enjoy the ceremony. Year by year, they will give different themes. The students are quite innovative.

How's the CCA trails? Sports is always the main attraction. My son told me the boys are very euthiasutic.
