Vaccination is not 100% effective but will lessen the effects of chicken pox considerably. In the early stages, it is possible to have a jab that will mitigate the effects (can’t recall what it does). My hubby contracted it some years back and DSes all kena - DS1 was really mild becos of vaccination; DS2 was the poor boy…full of poxes, he was only a baby and we didn’t think to vaccinate him (YET).


I recall my mum making parsley (?) water for DH to drink everyday. he couldn’t take a lot of food also (esp chicken and duck…old folks but safe better than sorry). Veg stall holders may know what drink to make for them.

wow! that must be one powerful chicken pox virus. u need to take care and not get infected. time to put on that mask and gloves.
