the haze, the end of hols, oh so close to orals and yet, i feel that somehow my dd still not ready... all these feel make me, some of us perhaps, all antsy and easily irritated.
gotta stay cool.... breathe, breathe, breathe....
need to keep on reminding myself that we're doing the best we possibly can, i hope.

DD read the specimen paper in the Chinese PSLE past year papers booklet. She noticed that the comprehension questions do not provide any lines or spaces for writing the answers. Does any parent know whether in the exact PSLE, the answers must be written in a separate booklet or in the question booklet itself? Is it the same for other 3 subjects? Thanks in advance for your advice.
in the question booklet itself for chinese comprehension -

Thanks to all mummies for your kind advice on how to manage chicken pox. I am quite tired this week, maybe that is why I am feeling especially nervous towards end of school holidays . Same here, although DS is supposedly sick but can't help lashing at him when he is doing nothing or taking so long to finish something. I pulled out some previous questions that he did not know how to do but the more I pull, the more I panic :yikes: you know what I mean

I want to stop pulling but I can't.
Oral is so near and I also feel he is not ready...especially the conversation part. Feel exhausted already... -

Usually I don't pull out previous questions that DS did not know how to do. Should I start? Sounds so scary leh... :nailbite: Maybe I shouldn't.... Ignorance is bliss...

Mummies, donโt lose steamโฆOrals are in mid-aug. Build up speed slowly.
You need to space it out or you and kid will be burnt out. After Orals, you can enjoy weekend but for now, slow and steady. It is frustrating, tiring and also easy to lose hope but this is the last part of marathon. You have worked so hard for thisโฆๅ ๆฒน. -

I was told by various teachers and friends that this is the way to reinforce the concept and ensuring DS knows how to do similar type questions. Can't tell for sure it works but I do do know other ways...anyway
