Hi mummies,
Any P1 preparatory class in yishun to recommend? Tq -
Mummies,
How do you prepare your little ones for P1 ?
My daughter is in K2 this year...all I do is to teach her to write simple characters for Chinese, get some assessment books done for Eng and Maths. Anything more I can do ? :? -
I think teaching kids how to handle $ and their own hygiene very important. Taking care of their own belongings and speaking up...For my naughty P1 boy these worked well

AuntieM,
Although my son had a buddy when he was in P1, he didn't want to queue for food during recess. So every day had to packet food for him.
For my daughter, I think I might do the same for her. Other than that, I think I have to teach my daughter to learn to speak up. Oh dear, I am getting a little panicky and worried.
Actually I am heartache to think of my darling going to P1 next year.
