SAP school will only offer HCL to all lower primary students. Students can choose to opt for normal CL when they progress to upper primary.Thanks.

Non-SAP school is the opposite. All lower primary students will take up normal CL but they can opt for HCL later when they progress to upper primary. -
We have a boy who will be P1 in 2014 and he is Brazilian-Korean. We are a foreign family living in the central area.
After searching many things, we finally realize that it is practically impossible to put him in Anglo-Chinese Junior or Rivervally Primary School.
Is there anybody who can comment about these 3 primary schools?
- Stamford (1 km from our home)
- Farrer Park (1.4 km from our home)
- Balestier Hill (3.8 km from our home)
I found out these 3 schools are not so popular among the local parnents(by the way why??? ) which can be option for foreigners…
We cannot afford those international schools because once you start, you need to commit till highschool and oversea university…Any comment will be highly appriciated…
One more thing… is it better and easier to register him from P1 or we still have the chance to move him to the local school when he is P2 or P3?
We can send him a couple of years to the international school by scraching our pocket…
Our family will live in Singapore for long term and my boy will probably finish his highschool education in here… So the best option for him is to heading to local schools…
Many smart and experienced parents, please give me some advices~~~~~~
Thanks ! -
Hi Everyone, I would like to ask if I enroll my boy under P2C and we live within 1km from RVPS. Does that mean we will definitely secure a place?
Please advise, thank you. -

Based on last year's statistics, yes. However, we do not know about this year's situation, so please monitor. -
Yes we’re SC. Thanks very much for the reply.

I would suggest that you enrol in local primary school like Stamford Pri which tends to be the nearest for your case. International schools is good if you have a organisation that can pay as a family compensation package. We have a boy who will be P1 in 2014 and he is Brazilian-Korean. We are a foreign family living in the central area.

These 3 primary schools are situated in the central area in which that call for a supply more than demand situation. Best starts from P1 & that can put your mind at ease. :rahrah: -
Any idea if SMPS has school bus to queenstown area? I hardly see their students near my place so just wondering is there any transportation issues.
