2013 P1 Registration Exercise for 2014 In-Take

Hi everyone


First timer here - first post, first child going to P1 next yr...

was just wondering, does race matter? My dd is listed as Caucasian in her birth cert, following her daddy. How would that affect her in terms of school programmes etc?

Which second language do you want your child to learn in school? Chinese, Malay or Tamil? I think this will be your concern.

So other than choice of MT? She will be doing Malay

So other than choice of MT? She will be doing Malay[/quote]The only thing affected is MT becos there are SAP schools and they only offer Chinese as the MT. Since your child will be taking Malay, just take note not to register in SAP schools.

Normally when will be updated by MOE? I guess everyday afternoon?

Nan Chiau is a SAP school but it has all MT - Chinese, Malay and Tamil. My son in NC and he's taking HCL since P1, and they have an extra HCL exam paper from P3 onwards (for top 3 classes).

hopefully tis yr will hv more chance to get in for the choice of sch tt we are hoping for…
