Better dont take mmr 2nd dosage :-

        http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-132515/New-evidence-shows-MMR-link-autism.html

My child has taken her 2nd MMR a year ago. She shows no signs of autism to date. It is \"Heng\" \"Suay\" thing. If the child is Suay, unlucky, will get. I heard of stories of children who had autism after MMR jab but then it's up to your doctor's advice to take or not.

So many have taken in past many yrs with no problems, including both my kids, now P5 & P3. Spore Govt very kiasi one, if got problem, sure stop long ago already. Trust our gov lah. Anyway, this is not the forum to discuss this topic.

I called up MOE this morning and the officer was telling me I can withdrawn on the same day and apply at the new school.

But we need to produce both parents IC for withdrawal and application at new school. Wonder how each parent station at each school if both Ic need to be produce? It will be a mad rush then at last minute....what if traffic jam?

Also, will the school give me accurate result? I am worried later I withdraw and this Phase 2 C school need to ballot....

Well, I called as well before I say this message and was told the same thing as above. I even asked her to double confirm with the officer in charge and was put on hold…she confirmed can withdraw on the same day. First the first school had to de register with all the original docs! Then the person has to travel to second school with those docs. Or the spouse can queue first but will har to wait for the original docs to apply…

                Hi everyone,

so would we be able to withdraw on last day of 2c?

I thought previous years parents have been standing by at two schools. 😞 Like that then one parent do enough le? Maybe just station someone at school B to get realtime updates?

Kitab, I think withdrawal must be done in person. in any case because online registration ends 1 day before end of 2c, those of us doing the mad rush also must register at new school in person.

                  Hi all

I was at ATS for 2A1 registration at 0830 this morning. My queue no was 25. I saw about 30+ parents there. Think by the end of today, there may be still balance vacancy for 2A2.

                    Read points 13, 14 and 15 of MOE's http://ifaq.gov.sg/moe/apps/fcd_faqmain.aspx#FAQ_30854:

                    13. Can I amend my choice of school after I have submitted my registration online?
Answer: No. You are not allowed to amend your choice of school after you have submitted your registration online. To re-register for another school, you have to withdraw your registration submitted earlier in the Primary One Internet System (P1-IS) and then approach the school you wish to re-register for registration.

                    14. How do I know that my online registration has been withdrawn successfully?
Answer: To complete withdrawal online, both parents are required to logon to Primary One Internet System (P1-IS) to submit the withdrawal. Your online registration is considered successfully withdrawn when you see the message \"Your registration has been successfully withdrawn.\" on the acknowledgement slip.

                    15. Can I re-register for another school online after I have withdrawn my registration online?
Answer: After a withdrawal is completed online, re-registration has to be done at your school of choice.

So from the above, one strategy would be to
                    1) Register online for the 1st school
                    2) On the last day of registration, bring a notebook (and your spouse, of course) along to the school you are eyeing.
                    3) If you think the odds of your child getting into the 2nd school is good, turn on your notebook and do online withdrawal from the first school.
                    4) Physically present yourself to the 2nd school clerks and do brick-and-mortar application with your physical bodies 🙂

No stress. Can even have a cappucino at the school canteen. Thank goodness for MOE's dippy toe into the wild wild Internet.

By the way, how they determine the no. of vacancy for Phase 2A?

I am so worried I might be out as I stay more than 2km away from my ex school.
