Thought 2C always get 1 more slot if it is odd numbers?

Nope, the extra 1 will go to P2B. At end of P2B, if any vacancies left will go to P2C. But if anyone withdraws fr P2A2, vacancy will go to P2C.

I don't think that's always the case. I look at last yr data and found that some go to 2B, some to 2C.[/quote]Do you mean the extra 1?

During P2B, some will withdraw fr P2A, those vacancies will end up in P2C. Maybe that's why you think some go to 2B and some go to 2C.

There was a note in the P1 registration that if after P2A2, there's an odd number, the extra will go to P2B. I don't remember which MOE website page I found that infor.

Good luck to all parents going into 2B n 2C.

Hope u get the schools u want. I went thru the balloting process 3yrs ago n I can tell u - it's super stressful! Tot I even saw a dad tearing when his son's name got picked!

Btw, how balloting is conducted is school dependent. Some use Toto balls n some use paper in 'fish tank'. Some get parents to pick, some get children to pick n some get teachers/principal to pick. As long as parents are there to witness the independence of the draw, can le. šŸ™‚

Since last year, or two years ago, the balloting mechanics have been changed to \"toto\" balls.
