wahhh how come Henry Park suddenly become so hot? I know it's been a popular school, but never know it can be this hot.

I guess Zoe Tay must be very happy now...hahaha. Cuz she & her husband volunteered at Nanyang, but sadly couldn't get in, and ended up putting her son in Henry Park cuz her husband was an ex student.

When Henry park primary school was interviewed, the school informed reporters that Zoe Tay's son is not studying there. Her husband wasn't an alumni from Henry park :-

Looking at few places left in Fairfield Methodist Primary, high chance will have balloting in P2B. Anyone has idea when the balloting for P2B will be conducted if required?

Phase 2b: announce by Thursday 25 July, and ballot on Friday 26 July

Phase 2c: announce by Monday 5 August, and ballot on Tuesday 6 August

Phase 2c supplementary : announce by Monday 19 August, and ballot on Tuesday 20 August

Phase 3 (foreigners): announce by Thursday 29 August, and ballot on Friday 30 August

For balloting :-
Some schools will ballot in the morning, while some in the afternoon.
The school will inform eligible parents - the date, time, venue for balloting.

A child who has been allocated a place in a school based on false information given by the registrant during the primary one registration exercise -
Will be transferred to another school, that still has vacancies.

Wow… looking at the statistics, seems like lots of hot spots this year.


In addition, this will add alot of pressure for phase 2B (grassroot, parents, other affiliation, etc…). Looking at my radar screen for those I’ve been monitoring previously, the 2B available places have dropped by 15-20 or more.

There is also a new learning for ex-boys and girls. Do sign up for your alumni and qualify under phase 2A1.

Alexandra Primary School has no previous registration history as its a new school. Does that means the registration will only kick-in at Phase 2C?

are you eligible under 2B at Fairfield? me too...last yr still got 32vacancies for 2B. this yr...almost 40% dropped sigh.........so stressed.

is there any limit to the number of people who can sign up for P2B?
I heard that for clans, they does control the numbers of \"letters\" given out each year? So for church affliation, is there such control??

I am still hoping that there is some remaining places left in P2B that can be transferred to P2C for residents staying nearby the school. :xedfingers:

I think for church they issue to regular church goers only. But that would mean that there's no control too as there are many many Methodist churches in Singapore.
