2013 P1 Registration Exercise for 2014 In-Take
-
When I submitted the vaccination print out yesterday during registration, they didn’t even look through. The admin person was checking address and distance and supporting letter from church only. Didn’t even flip through the print out of vaccinations. Anyway MMR booster to take at 18months came about only after our kids turned 3. So doesn’t apply to them. They can take privately now or wait till school health team goes to the respective schools in p1.

Immunisation Certificates
All parents should produce the immunisation certificates (BCG, diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, poliomyelitis, measles, mumps, rubella and Hepatitis B) of their children at the time of registration. Documentary evidence of immunisation can be downloaded from the National Immunisation Registry website.
With reference to Singapore’s National Childhood Immunisation Schedule, all children (Singapore Citizens and Non-Singapore Citizens) should have completed the recommended immunisations before entry into Primary One.

I read all those from MOE website already
There seems to be a change of immunization schedule for MMR D2.
Those born before Dec 2011 did not have the MMR D2 at 18mths coz its suppose to be administered at 6-7 years but MOH changed the schedule for MMR d2 to 18mths of age in Dec 2011.
So Anyway, phew , i just manage to speak to MOE Ms. Jia min on this and she said it will not affect the P1 registration because its a new system after Dec 2011.
Huge sigh of relief.. :imcool:
Sorry am a little :offtopic:

I think P2A1/2 should be removed and alumni stay away, they did nothing at all to the school and community and yet guarantee a place. Most also stay far away and it's not in the child's benefit to travel long distances daily.[/quote]YES I AGREE!!!!!! hope to see that change for next year!XXXX:

If I'm not wrong, twins, triplet etc count as 1. So if one of the twins being call out, the other twins will automatic be consider getting in too. Can anybody confirm this is correct?Just curious- in a ballotting if 1 twin is in and the other is out then how?
Will the P allow the 2nd twin to come in as well? -
Anyone has the status for St Nic on number of SC applicants within 1km as at this afternoon?

From what I remembered, upon registration, the admin staff did not even bothered to see the immunization book/print out. So for those parents who miss any injection can still do so afterwards.
After son entered P1 then form teacher will request parent to pass the immunization book to be given to their child to bring to school for submission.
After about a few weeks then the book will be returned back to the child for them to bring home.
Hope it helps ! -

Used to be just once for MMR but has since broken down to 2 doses. Just did the second dose for my #4. His last jab will be the booster at 18mths.
