phase 2B ballot is based on what critirea? PV or SC within 1km? as i know PR can do PV too

      from what i understand
all phase which need ballot will be based on SC first if demand > supply.

      eg.
if PV have 20 and vacancy only have 12

      among these 20 PV

      grp 1 - 5 PV are SC within 1km,
grp 2 - 5 PV are PRs within 1 km,
      grp 3 - 5 PV are SC within 1-2km,
      grp 4 - 2 PV are PRs within 1-2km
      grp 5 - 3 PVs are SC >2km

Grp 1 and Grp 3 will be admitted to fill the 10 places
grp 5 - 3 PVs are SC will have to ballot for the last 2 vacancy.

all other groups...totally no chance to ballot.

      Thanks ! anxious anxious!

Just curious- in a ballotting if 1 twin is in and the other is out then how?

Will the P allow the 2nd twin to come in as well?

If I'm not wrong, twins, triplet etc count as 1. So if one of the twins being call out, the other twins will automatic be consider getting in too. Can anybody confirm this is correct?

It is up to the choice of the parents - to treat the twins as a \"unit\" or as 2 units. if the twins are treated a a unit (i.e. only 1 ballot slip), once chosen both will be in. If the parents decided to take them as 2 units (i.e. 2 ballot slips), then the selection of one does not auto-include the other.

The first one goes in, auto second one go in too. So takes up 2 seats.

                    From MOE website

Student Admissions >> Primary One Registration >> Balloting
Will my children who are registering at the same school be balloted together?
For the purpose of balloting in the Primary One (P1) Registration Exercise, siblings/twins/triplets of the same citizenship will be treated as one group. All the children will share the same ballot number. In this case, if the ballot number is picked, all the children will be admitted to the school.

In fact, the twins only have a ballot slip, so they do not stand more chance to get in as the rest of the children. the only drawback is that if the ballot slip is chosen, 2 seats are taken up, thus leaving less available seats for the other children. Hope it clarifies.
