Thanks sun_2010 and zeemimi for responding.

Wow… prelim is indeed very important then… Anyway, we told dd that the criteria for her to attend the performance is that she must put in consistent revision effort.

it is better to replace the batteries before the exams. some calculators require screwdriver to unscrew for battery replacement.
Don't think need to draw circles.
thanks for that batteries tip.... why never thought of it! :slapshead:

I would say go for it, since your DD is very keen on her CCA.

The chance of Plan B is very rare, since they make one write PSLE as long as they can .
And its not like she is not going to do her prelims. Just the last minute chionging not done 😉

DS down with fever, cough and cold... today is Prelim Oral!!!!

have a headache from the stress...

            I feel for you.. :hugs:

Bring him to GP if you don't already have standby medication at home. Just let him rest after he comes home from oral. You take care too. :hugs:

            DD's oral is Friday. :xedfingers:

She JUST showed me her entry proof yesterday.

                ngl2010:

I gathered this PSLE stationeries list from 2012 thread. Anything else to add on?

                *Pens
                *Correction tapes
                *2B pencils for OAS
                *Eraser
                *Highlighter
                *Ruler
                *Protractor
                *Set squares
                *Calculator
                *E-dictionary
                *Student pass
                *Entry proof

Do you think they will need to bring stapler?

                ngl2010

if memory never fail me, i think stapler is not required. They use string to tie up the scripts. but then i'm getting old, so may have forgotten. 😉

                Thank you Zeemimi.

ah boy's prelim starts late - next Monday is oral.

my dd's oral is next wednesday and thursday.

So late? Then, when will she start prelim written?

can add extra batteries for calculator and e-dictionary? the compass for drawing circles?

I think I would prefer that dd bring extra calculator and e-dictionary rather than battery. Don't want her to spend time changing it.

I think I will ask DS to bring extra calculator and e-dictionary too.

If she has been consistent in her study, I think it should be alright to attend the performance.
