I know of parent with a set of twins who preferred their children to go 2 different schools. Why? To build each individual identity.
If their parents are well supported then ok, else it would be a logistical nightmare for the next few years. -

Why the online dates (29 - 31 Jul) and the on-site dates (30 Jul - 1 Aug) are different?now is 29 July 2013.

I didn't bring my dd1 when I registered in P2B last yr becos I was not sure if there was going to be balloting. I didn't want her to think that she was definitely going to that school. If the was balloting and my number was not selected, I didn't want to explain to her why she couldn't go to that school. I'm a lazy mother in this regard. If I can give less problems to myself I will LOLOLOLOL.
I understand that parents can register online but still need to go down to the school on another day to show documentary proof. However, I prefer the traditional way of registering the child in the school. I want to ask if parents can bring along their children when they go down to register and is it advisable to bring the child to the school? What do you think?phtthp:

That's their choice, by all means.
I too know of a parent who send her non-twins same gender different age kids to different schools.
Parents have different parenting styles mah, no right, no wrong, as long as not abusive, who are we to say which style is better. -
If thereโs a need for balloting in my choice of school, do I need to be present on that day?
-

Actually, there is nothing much u can show your child if u bring him/her along for the registration. Since it is a school day, the school won't let visitors wonder around im the school. Designated route will guide u straight to Hall.

Put yourself in the shoes of current parents that have children studying in the school now, u also don't want strangers to walk here n there, looking into classrooms where ur kids are studying. -

After he balloted n got the space, i brot him down to the school during 2C to tell him that I'm 'registering' him in that school. Wanted ds1 to 'experience' the process...
