I register at St Hilda too. Number 67.
Hi. How come your number 67 but MOE site say only 52 registered? -
sweetbaby:
Should be coz when I called up the Admin office at 1+PM today, the figure was 57, SC within 1km.Flowee:
SHPS ends the day with 13 new application. Total registered - 65 (includes yesterday's application)
Phew!!!
All 65 within 1 km??? Best of luck and stay strong. -

I am puzzled too. Guess quite a number of withdrawal[/quote]My guess would be the applications could be from those staying more than 1km therefore won't be eligible for balloting. The number reflected shows SC within 1 km only.vodka76:

The odds for SHPS just went down from 65% yesterday to nearly 50% today… its getting more intense…

I ain't surprised as it had always been as such. 2:1 ratio is common for shps for the past few years.
You have a back up school in mind? -
Yes we have backup plan in mind and school to go for (provided still available).
However, it seems like this year’s registration has a high number of Tampines children which gives a feeling of dejavu… -

The backup school that I am looking at is over subscribed... With good faith, I pray that we are successful in the balloting :boogie:Yes we have backup plan in mind and school to go for (provided still available).

All the best for those trying for ballot! It's tricky when we dont have a fall-back plan..
We also wanted to do that but we don't have the backup plan..
To fall under P2Cs and w/o a backup plan, it's worrying.. my DH dont want us to \"risk\" the chance to end up with nothing.. And to have to go thru balloting in CS.. and ended up (touch wood) :xedfingers: - unable to get into any one that we desire...
Quote from one mummy online:
\"A piece of advise from my experience. If you really want to go for ballot, you really have to mentally prepare yourself for the worst to go for phase 2CS. Remember if you (touch wood) didn't get balloted in phase 2C, the schools left for 2CS will be minimal. Not talking about good schools, even those average schools are all being taken up, left with no choice, we have to choose a sch which was far away from our house in a different zone area. Ended up dc has to wake up earlier than others and be the latest to be home on the sch bus!
For those parents going for ballot, remember to have in place a backup plan with a sch that you think you will have a chance to be in without another round of ballot in phase 2CS.\" -
With this year being a bumper year of '07 babies, the historical trends may not be so reliable? I see my back up school is also filling up fast *gulp
(Tells self) every school is a good school every school is a good school
