• RE: Fengshan Primary

      Hi All,

      I'm a ex school gal of FSPS graduated in 1988! Frankly, I'm also thinking if I should place my DS to this school as
      the school of my first choice seems difficult to get in after Phrase 1 results.

      I really have no idea how the school has become over the years but was surprise to see the take up rate this year.

      Anyway, let's hope more parents can share abit more about this school šŸ™‚

      No, they will be kept and release to the highest bidders after p2c.

      Highest bidders meaning? How it works?
can somebody explain how to read this? the % is calculated based on? thanks..

      Changkat Primary

      No. of Vacancies = 180

      Phase 1 TUR = 32% = 32%*180 = 57

      No. of vacancies left = 180-57 = 123

      Phase 2A APP = 11% ==> 11%*123 = 13 applied in P2A

      No. of vacancies left = 123-13 = 110

      TUR so far = (57+13)/180 = 39%

      After P2A, remaining places split equally between P2B and P2C. Hence, P2B and P2C had 55 places each.

      P2B APP = 2% ==> 2%*55 = 1 applied in P2B

      TUR so far = (57+13+1)/180 = 40%

      Hope the above clarifies!

      Thank you so much. So, does it means that after P2A, all places will be split into half in every school?
Also, if after splitting half to P2, if the TUR for P2B is not fully take up, will the remaining seats be transferred to P2C?

    • RE: All About Primary Schools' Balloting History

      I’m looking at the past balloting history. Can I interpret that as long as there is balloting for those staying within 1km, my chance of getting in to the school is almost zero if I stay within 1-2km?
