[Tampines] Primary Schools

My back up school would be Junyuan Primary (also <1km). But they only have about 30 + places left. So last back up would probably be Tampines North pri (1-2km).

All i can gather is that it's a smaller school (or at least, a small P1 cohort of 150) and next to Junyuan, it looks like the poorer cousin coz JPS underwent prime not too long ago (iirc) and premises looks bigger..Gumbokins:

Flowee, yup. Registered at TPS. eventhough the admin person said SC <1km should be ok, part of me is still worried that i might have had selective hearing! *lol*tintedpink:

during my time (1991-1996), we heard more about EVPS kids then JPS kids. they were also more visible. results-wise EVPS also had better grades than JPS. and the teachers back then were really good. but over the years, it seemed that EVPS remained stagnant, not much improvement done at school (looks the same as it was 25yrs ago) and not much heard about teacher training either. whereas JPS has done quite a lot of teacher training and sent their teachers for lots of courses.
that said, sometimes a small cohort can be a good or a bad thing. -
