      This morning Eng Neo & Bukit Timah Road was okay. But PIE was bad ...

      We only entered PIE from Toa Payoh today around 7am. Quite ok. We reached NJC bus-stop gate 7.10am and walked in to hall.

      I was slightly later.

      The jam at PIE near Steven Road exit was bad bcos many drivers wanting to exit Steven Road \"cheated\" by driving on the extreme right lane then gotta slow down to turn/cheat into the Steven Road.

      Before that the stretch at Eunos was also bad ...

        Aiyah, maybe I tell everyone about the Eng Neo route, now the other side - Bukit Timah very clear this morning, altho' there is a slight jam along Adam Rd turning right to Bukit Timah. But for Eng Neo - the JAM this morning starts along the PIE!!! :x :x :stupid: :!: 😢

          The stretch at PIE after Adam (towards Tuas), the heavy traffic is due to cars coming out from Adam into PIE but not into Eng Neo exit, most of them wanna go to Jurong/Tuas. What I meant to say is luckily this bulk of traffic is not contributing to the jam at Eng Neo.

                I'm glad someone started this topic. To go to HCI from the east via PIE, is it better exit at Steven's rd and use underpass at Farrer OR is it better to exit at Adam rd? I heard the jam is partly caused by cars turning right to Nanyang Primary along Bukit Timah Rd.

                my girl in NJC JH1 this year.
                coming from east via PIE, tried exit into bukit timah via;
                eng neo(mon),
                steven's(tue) and
                adam rd(today).
                best option via adam rd.
                dropped my girl at the bus stop on HCI side,
                cross o/hd bridge to bus stop adjacent to NYGH.
                enter school via a small gate behind the bus stop.
                traffic along bukit timah/dunearn is really terrible 😢

                  What time was it when u exit via Adam? I sent my boy to sch this morning, set off fm Hougang at 6.25, exit via Stevens Rd, reach HCI at 6.45am. I saw there was no Q at the turn into NYGP unlike last Mon, super long Q causing Adam rd exit to jam. Don't know if its cos' of rainy day or 1st day of sch, everybody ka lang ka bo.

                    exit PIE into adam rd abt 6.50 this morning, reach HCI bus stop at 7.00. i think traffic along bkt timah/dunearn this morning is less than mon/tue, dunno why... will continue to monitor for a while and see which is the best route/timing.
