To all parents balloting. If your child's ping pong ball number is in the middle of the range, don't forget to give the cage a hard spin or three to mix the balls up real good if you don't want to see a disproportionate number of balls on both ends of the range dropping out of the wire cage! :stupid:


Don't worry about the cage. MOE can afford to buy more.

I did warn you guys at Page 235 of this thread.

Only in my case, the balls went into the cage in such a way the middle range was practically completely left out.

Can understand your disappointment and maybe also frustration ( I assume) but take heart; many have gone through this road and definitely you are not alone :grphug:

Please take a look at those schools with vacancies left for P2CS carefully - plan and take a serious look in term of distance, ie those that are preferably less than 1km from your address. Do remember that those who fail in P2C balloting today will also be in the same situation as you.

I was balloted out last year from Phrase 2C too. I know how it feels. I was really depressed and cannot sleep for few nights. Everyone around me said that it is ok, god has a better plan to me but it is not easy. Only person who goes through will understand. So everyone who did not get through, you may cries and it will take a while to accept it. My dd went a school that I was really not happy. It was logistically challenged as I have 3 kids in 3 different school as my eldest is in secondary, second in all boys school and third was balloted out was DD. I never give up. I registerd my DD in all the school that I want her to go. I spoke to friends and see how I can increase my chances of transferring her to another school. I never loose hope. Finally my DD got transfered to a good school in P1. It was not an easy journey, but as a mother I never give up. So, do not give up and look for what can you do now.

It's ok to put in more than 1 waitlist.

Can I ask if anyone knows, so many on wait list. Who will the sch choose to call

Yes. That's what waitlist are for, for schools with 100% take up rate

Yes, can walk in to fill the form. But call school to chk time that school gate is open for visitor and if their balloting session for P2C is over.
