Yes I did. They were also offered by ri but we prayed abt it and spoke to the boys, they prefer acsi. If hcl scores cant be taken into acct then maybe we shdnt focus so much on hcl paper … haha…
But does acsi offer hcl? -

ACS(I) has offered HCL for more than a decade now. For what it's worth, I'd advise a slow and steady approach. Not clearing the HAST may mean that your son isn't quite ready to tackle the IP teaching approach without help, so it would be good to let him mature for a couple of years more. It would also be good to find someone to see if he's more suited to the IB Diploma or A-Level Cert approach. All the best!Yes I did. hi autolycus
how and who will be in a good position to ascertain whether a child is suited to the ib diploma or a-level approach? -

Hi, my sons have just been confirmed into acsi under dsa - sports. They are taking HCL now. May I know if the school also takes into acct psle t score with hcl points (for eg t score of 253 + 3 for hcl distinction) ? My sons sat for HAST as well but didnt manage to clear that for IB dsa. Thus I was advised to wait for psle results to be out then see if they can make it for ib, else hope they do well enough totransfer in year 3 after sec 2. Thanks in advance for the advice!
Sons?! Twins?!
That's nice! :congrats: -
Hi autolycus, im puzzled why acsi doesnt take into acct hcl scores for psle yet offers hcl? My sons r not willing to drop hcl as they love the language. Actually I am not so concerned that he doesnt clear hast now. I figure they can settle in for 2 yrs then make the switch. Yes, I too want to ask how to ascertain if he is suitable for ib or A levels? My child is a math person, however he loves reading and does quite well in his languages too.

blessedmommy, I believe all if not most schools offer HCL. Only SAP schools take into consideration the HCL bonus points. So ACSI is not the exception. -
Oh i see… v suaku cos first time gg thru psle hehe… I heard in some schools the students r required to go to other schools to do their hcl. Is there any benefits of taking hcl if they r doing ib prog then?
