Reflections of Our Singapore Conversation:
A Mother’s Wish: a supportive community for autistic son
Choo Kah Ying had taken away her son’s iPod. Upset, the 16-year-old struck his mother, leaving her in despair and wanting to give up on creating a programme to help him and others with moderate to severe autism.

Hopefully in the upcoming National Day Rally, concerns of special needs will be addressed.Reflections of Our Singapore Conversation:

My son’s school is having a school performance in Oct and all the students will be given a role in the performance. I am so grateful to the teacher as she made arrangement to change the rehearsal dates to the days that he is in school (he attends 3 days as the other 2 days he has to attend EIPIC). Just learned from the teacher that he is given the role of a Traffic Light, something that he loves or I would say, obsessed with. And he has been residing his lines these days. Can’t wait to see his performance as a Traffic Light. haha!

Good for you Double E. Somehow my doter has not had this opportunity. I hope that one day I will also see her on stage doing some form of performance. That would really bring tears to my eyes.
Savor the moment when it comes. :hugs: -

My boy punched someone in the tummy last Sat and the guy was understandably livid. I was apologising profusely and luckily he didn't press charges. People do forgive when its a kid but when they get older, it will get more problematic.
Oh man, definitely want such a plan if anything goes awry. knock wood. -
