Take it easy…the worst will be over…oral carries high weightage but don’t stress the child out…bcos the examiner is a stranger.

happyheart, i believe your ds will be well today. all the best!
DS tried to nap but could not fall asleep at all. He still has blocked nose and a cracking voice so I gave him medicine and made him drink a lot of warm water. It seems to soothe his throat and he 乖乖 went to bed at 8.30pm. Luckily, DS is in S2 tomorrow so can sleep in later. Hope he is well by morning. Thank you for caring. :snuggles: -

Ooops  I usually keep medicine given by doctor in the fridge and give it to DS when he has similar sickness again :oops:Hi ngl,
Prednisone is a steroid...tightly controlled medication.
I get it from GP only when I have a bad throat (painful when swallow) or antibiotics.
Mummies,
The first day is over...let go of the pressure because kids do have some idea what to expect 2moro. Cheer kids up by telling them Saturday is NO work day...go for ice cream, or head out to the mall to get the mind off exams.
Take care of yourselves too. -

happyheart, pray your DS is feeling slightly better today to get oral exams done and over with for real! My DD's language teachers will start to breathe better after today to better focus on working the students for the main language paper.

ngl2010, what was this morning's power breakfast?
My DD eats a lot too. Can finish adult portions on her own plus seconds! :scared: She likes to binge on sweet snacks too which I try to cut down on. She's already like 49kg! :faint: On exam days however, she cannot bring herself to wolf down much for fear of many things, one of which is not to stink exam room/hall. Too full a tummy + sheer excitement or anxiety = an explosive moment waiting to happen. :rotflmao:
Jennifer, ah boy must be more confident today after yesterday's experience, so didn't need to carry out crocheting or any other therapeutic activity right?
