Hi LIL_Jade, your friend decided to try their luck at MCS for phase 2C sup?lil_jade:
Thanks for all the advice. Guess I can only pray and wait.. sigh
Dear piglet18,
Just read that you'll be balloting at MCS? I hope you can get in! I've a friend trying too! Will be praying for both of you and hope your gals can join the MCS family too!
Have you found out what are the odds for MCS?
I do wish her good luck for next Tuesday balloting.
Please please please please inform her to speak up IF she notices the spinner doesnt spin the cage such that the balls inside jumble or move about instead of swaying left right monotonously.
This is because the scoop attached to the cage, WILL only scoop in higher probability of what is in the center portion. So if her ball is to the side, then lower probability to get scooped up.
Hi Ryes,
Yup, she's going to try again at MCS! Will advise her to watch out during the balloting, thanks!! -
piglet18:
dear parents, between bt timah pri, cantonment pri and new town pri, which will u choose if you have to? Just in case I get balloted out again next tue...thanks!
Hi piglet18,
I sincerely hope you'll never have to fill up any 3 schools cos you'll be happily balloted into MCS!
Nevertheless, my friend is also preparing a \"just in case\" list and she shortlisted pei tong primary and stamford primary as she stays in central area, so these are much closer. I'm not sure about whether these schools are strongly recommended but I think all schools are good so it's really the environment around the school that you'll want to check out, and the transport etc? Which area do you stay?
As for Bt Timah primary, she's uncertain cos only 1 place left so does it go to the parent who lives the nearest? Would it mean a wasted 1 option of the 3 options if she puts it down? What do you think? -
Hi mummies & daddies,
Does anyone knows the balloting statistics for Maris Stella High (MSH) in Phase 2C this year?
I know that SC 1 - 2 km needs balloting, but dun know the number.
I think MSH has 75 vancancies for Phase 2C this year right? -

Yesterday's wanbao had him saying that he wouldn't want his kid to study in Singapore... he wants kid to read traditional Chinese characters. Hmm... maybe he didn't get the seat at Pei Chun so now say this to save face? :scratchhead:phtthp:

I wonder if they managed to transfer him in somehow...?patlsy79:

With that name, they probably were at the very top of the waiting list. Hopefully the rest of the balloted out PV from her son year batch manage to secure a place too. -
Hi… is there any mummy who did not get in the ballot for 2C? For 2014 Registration Pri1…?Can I check if the form details.? For the Rivervale Pimary School

Good luck for all balloting tomorrow

No point comparing with the stars. Doors will be open for them. They have earned it by keeping the masses entertained. ("Are you not entertained?" - Gladiator). Legions of fans adore them.
Better to focus on the politicians. The public should know if the Minister of Education sends his kids to a ‘good school’. Did he send them to the primary school that bears the name of the constituency that voted him in?
