It was exactly 8-9 mth after then new policy made effective that the baby was born/abandoned

The maid agency is Singapore Maid Hub Pte Ltd located at Katong Shopping Center. The agency fees I paid is slightly less than $1k after negotiation. I paid 8 months of maid's pay in advance.

I'm very happy with my current maid. Should not have hired a Filipino previously and put up with her for so long.

Nowadays most agencies are already charging 988,1188, or 1288…there is an agency even charging 1388…nothing cheap now… you pay 8 month loan advance of the maid, but every month still must pay her the off day reimbursement .

You know the Indonesian suppliers must be really rich since they ask so much loan of the girl… this money doesnt go in the pocket of the local agent,it is for the Indo agent.

However, my friend took 2 maids from one agency, and she paid 888.

My 1st payment was about $1500 which includes agency fees, insurance, medical check up and all the paperwork. When collecting my maid, I paid another $2.5K I think. All in all I paid about $4K. My maid will still be getting a minimal salary which comprise mainly the reimbursement of the off days. She will be getting her full pay only after the 8th month.

Same here. All in all I paid about $4k for my new Indo maid. Agency fee is $1288, need to pay insurance and SIP. My 1st payment was about $2500. When I picked up my maid, I paid another $1.4k. She will get $240 for 1st 8 months and after that she will get her full pay.

I thot the Indonesia govt introduce the changes so that loan period is shorten to 3-4 months for maid to enjoy the benefits? How does the current arrangement benefit the maid? Isn’t this like before? Except employer pay more now to recruiter and the papers reported these recruiters in Indonesia must be approved by the govt!!??
