DS is in P2. Violin lesson (during music lesson) has just started in August. With many school / public holidays lining up, I guess there will be only about 10 lessons till end of the year. According to him, there were 2 teachers to a class of about 30 - based on the experience of 1 lesson.

Before that, P2 has \"boom whacker\" lesson from around Term 2.

Hi, I am excited as my DD is going to attend P1 in Keming next year. I have a mixed feeling as I am impressed by its good PSLE track records, I also worry that the school may change its direction under the new principal.

Could someone provide more feedback about the school?

Hi funny, my boy in p1 this yr. Class form teacher is strict in many aspects eg correct handwriting. I quite like the strict sch rules n was told abt tt before enrolling my boy. Not sure wat was it like w previous principal.

Probably strict. At P level, the best principals run a tight ship, else nothing moves.


But i find former principal a bit inflexible. Before the 2012 rule change, the sch had 1km balloting every year. When i tried to apply for PV, was told reg had closed early, even tho i am well within the MOE timeframe for PV. Former principal simply setting his own rules n would not budge. Thank goodness for the rule change, so no need to move hse.

Next Monday he will have writing test. but actually I didnt find he did any home work in his term 3 about the writing. any one know this test’s requirement?

English Writing test.

we have some Chinese writing home works and some papers before the test. but I haven't seen any English writing test for practicing paper. my son told me he practiced in MLEA book. but the book I haven't seen in this term 3. my son didn't show me as too many errors?

I also hv not seen his MLEA book for quite a while. He brought back comprehension worksheets quite often these days. according to the term 3, indv writing is done in MLEA. Written class test based on grammar vocab n comprehension.
