can i ask, since pre primary & primary are not compulsary why need to take?

To give the kids exposure and prepare them for actual RAD grading at G1.

Fyi, If the child does not meet the standard....the ballet teacher might not sign her up for the RAD exam....
Yes, I agree to your view.

So far, only one gal in my gals's previous class did not do the exams (pri, g1 and g2) with the rest of the class.

She did fine.. She had no problem with the dance routines. The teacher, at every lesson, will still hv to ensure that the gal gets her moves and positions correct. Her responsibility as a teacher, right? Except, maybe nearing the exams, teacher may be more strict with the rest of the girls instead.

She will not be allowed to skip the next exam (g3), so the teacher said. I guess, when the time comes for her to take her first exam (g3)... The teacher will make sure she is ( the whole class in fact ) must be good enough/ready to pass her(their) exams for that level. The only disadvantage for that gal, I guess will be the lack of examination experience.

Hmm, the transition from g1 to g2 is not big... I heard, the big jump in difficulty is at grade 3..
It is the responsibility as a teacher to teach but it also depend whether the child could follow the routine or not.

BB Ballet is also considered some forms of dancing background.
Try CC at PA.

I tried finding cc at Pa.

But have to go down to the cc to speak to the teacher right?
The cc themselves won’t know much details leh.
I would like to ask
Is it still in time NOW to join a primary class and try the primary exam in mar/apr2014?

It may not be possible as coaching classes are starting soon.

Try asking to join a primary class… without asking to take the exams in april. Then move up with the rest after their exams. Afterall, not a prerequisite to hv the primary cert to go on to next level… this way she still gets 6 months of training in primary grade.
