That is why character building is important. The strength in the mind will help address most of these issues.

Fully agree with you, ks2me. I think it is very important to instill good values and character building in our children. Still, sometimes it is really easier said than done. Our children are also exposed to media and peer influence and there's societal pressure to contend with. And let's not get started on puberty and raging hormones!!! :stupid: :faint:

It's so tough to be a parent these days, and I guess even tougher for our children. 😐

Dwang...you mean there's belt on sale?

How about the purity ring...see this very good initiative: http://www.family.org.sg/default.aspx?go=article&aid=719

although I'd much prefer that the purity ring should be for both the daughters and the sons...takes two to clap right?! šŸ˜‰

Aiyo...a bit like what a MIL would want a DIL to do when the husband is not in town...

I still feel that if we can embark on such an indulgent journey to train our kid's mind on academics with right and left brain training, we should make at least an equal effort to teach them how to live in a way to complement their strong academic background. Just my 2cts worth. If with a strong academic background and still need to wear a \"chastity belt\", that will really hurt their ego...

the moment the chastity belt is taken off when they reach adulthood, we will have sex-starved men running around rampaging any hole in the wall and women jumping on fire-hydrants LOL kidding lah hahahaha
