I wish I have a solution to this problem. During his real school holiday last Nov/Dec, we watched all 3 series of 神探狄仁杰 on DVD. It's a China production and the conversation is slow with Chinese subtitle. We are watching 2008 倚天屠龙记 on weekends now. I am hoping the DVDs will do some magic.

Thanks, MintLeaf, for all your helpful input. While in China in Dec, my son was drawn to this 喜洋洋 cartoon on TV. He would laugh and sing along with the song. So we bought the whole series home. We want to encourage any tinge of interest in the language, even if it's cartoon!

You are most welcome. Singing along is a good way to learn. DD sometimes repeats what some of those 神探狄仁杰 characters say. And she has the habit of replaying selected episodes of a drama series. She is much stronger at MT.

I think Skyjuice is also waiting for her passwords. The school is supposed to issue them to parents automatically. There will be a standard way they set the password, like birth date, IC number in certain format, etc. If you still can not access your accounts after the school has notified you, contact Paul Leong (HOD IT) for help.

Hi all, is anyone trying the new route tomorrow?

Need some advice on the purchase of Macbook Pro. There are 2 options. Package A is Macbook WHITE $2080 with 2.26GHz and 2Gb SDRam. Package B Macbook PRO is 2.53GHz with 4Gb SDRam. Price difference is $600. Which would be a suitable choice? Is B too high powered? On the other hand, my son chose Infocomm as CCA 1st choice. He wants to do ISpotMotion and Gaming. These would definitely run better on a higher RAM. Would A’s RAM be sufficient already?


Does anyone buy the optional items such as such as insurance, MS Office, Eubiq Plug and Anti-Theft?

We are choosing package A. Sorry can't help with the technical part, coz I am an IT idiot. We don't intend to buy the optional items as yet.

Has your son chose his CCA online? Ds tried to do it via admin breeze, but there was no option to do so. His friend smsed a link cca.postal.marissitella.net, but that didnt work either.
