Is there a list of recommended English story books by the school for P1/P2 to read? I know Chinese does have.

My DD did bring back a recommended reading list for English. I didn't realise there is one for Chinese too

[/quote]My goodness! :yikes: I didn't realise there are all these on the website! Never even bothered to check. :stupid: Now I panic :nailbite: I need to buckup!
They gave a printed recommended English reading book list. I think maybe they may have mentioned this on the class blog, but I usually skip things written in Chinese. :siam: Now even teacher give up and start writing what's app to us in English! :rotflmao: -
Are P1 kids reading more on Roald Dahl books, The Magic Tree House series, Geronimo, Enit Blyton or those stepping books level 3/4 in short chapters?

Any clue on the jam at Toh Tuck if we drop off at around 7.30am?mickeyhmh:
Just to add my 2cents. For 2013 & 2014, P1 & P2 classes are held in Toh Tuck Campus. Classes start 8am, flag raising 7:50+/-. Kids can go to Kings Road Campus to catch the shuttle bus to TTC (they leave KRC around 7:30, if not wrong). What time they wake up will depend on where you stay & how you are sending your kids. :snooze:
Heard from neighbours who send their kids to King's Road campus that we should leave home by 6.45am to ensure smooth traffic and arrive at King's Road at 7.10am.
But they can't advise much about Toh Tuck. We are staying in Punggol.
Hi there,
I am staying at Hougang and drives my boy to TTC every day. We usually leave home by 635-640am and will get to school by 710-720am. Do factor in time needed when caught in a jam, somehow PIE always jam.
