Anyone knows whether the Year5 IP program students are in school now ?

If yes, then when the intake from O Levels come in, how are they gonna catch up ?

If no, that means holiday for Year5 IP students are so long ?

        Thanks

Don't know about Hwa Chong, but for your info, I saw at RJC, the JC1s have started school. Very obvious from all the RGS uniforms in the 1st 2 weeks of school year.

If the JC1 has started school, then what happen to the batch of JC1 that are coming in using their O Levels ? Will they be in the same class ? They will be in a different program from the present JC1 students who took the IP program ?

No idea, maybe there's some students here that can answer that.

But I think not many would join RJC from outside schools. Not so much vacancy after providing for their own IP students. And I must say that \"missing\" 3 weeks of school cannot be as bad as the 3months as it was in our time. Surely can still catch up, lah!

Yes, I am curious as to whether those coming in from O Levels into JC1:

            a) will have to catch up 3 weeks ? OR
            b) they do different program from the existing JC1 that is already in via IP ? OR
            c) the existing JC do not come in until 3 weeks later ?

            Thanks

My DS brought back a piece of paper entitled : 中一语特课程(算一科目的分数)。 Anyone here knows what is this all about.

              Thank you.

Out of interest, JustKP - which consortium is ur DS in?
I checked with my DS, he doesn't hv this paper.

              He is from ProEd.

As stated in the paper, it is for students with A/A* in PSLE chinese and it is opened to all consortium. Lesson is on every Monday 2.10 to 3.40pm.

Yes majority get A in PSLE chinese. My DS also in Pro-Ed but don’t have this additional subject. Do they teach something different or focus on a particular aspect such as composition?

Hi My DS is also in PRo-Ed, but he decided not to take up. Otherwise, almost everyday can only reach home by 6pm.
