The both of them are getting work done now...but I spot check every now and then to make sure they are on their toes  Vacuumed the floor last night, so that I can revise with younger one.

With the new EL syllabus, I have to be careful buying assessment books.

Son's Chinese Paper 1 starts 23rd Sep...very early...which is just nice because he will finish before my daughter starts her written papers.
Janet.. Your kids (& you) are so hardworking.. :salute:

My 2 fellas are still :snooze: .. And I am still lazing in bed..  šŸ˜‰

1st day of Sch hols.. Nuah-mode switched on instantly.. šŸ˜†

woke up at 745 this morning...no thanks to sore throat and runny nose.

daughter woke up earlier because she slept very early last night...son snored till almost 9am.

hubby did ask me to take the kids out but with SA2 time table pinned on my notice board, I am not able to do that 😢 the schedule was to get kids to WAKE UP but unfortunately I am the one affected.

We make these mid-semester breaks 'half-holidays' as they usually have homework and revision to do. My deal with them is that they wake up at a reasonable time (7.30am) and put in at least 2-3 hrs of work, and then they can have the rest of the time to themselves. This afternoon, they are going to watch Percy Jackson, and we plan to do the tree-top walk with them one day (husband will take some time off to go with us). I'll probably go out with them another time and there's always the library! My personal time is unchanged from term time as they work independently anyway.

DH is away again. So this whole week will be me and the kids again. Before I left for work this morning, gave them some work and told them to finish up as much of their school work as possible.

Hubs away again. DD1 has holiday supp. DD2 already finished homework and now doing her assessments. I'm planning to take them out the last few days of the week to play, spend time with gramps and chillax with some movie catch-up. šŸ˜„
