Folks, kids are back to school tomorrow. For the next 2 weeks, the school will probably max them out all they can. Let us do our best to support our dear children and place their well being as first priority! Whatever the result may be, I am sure they have put in considerable efforts! Cheers to them!! :salute:

All the best to all P6 kiddos in the coming PSLE... and a BIG :thankyou: to all whom have been so forthcoming in sharing! :grphug:
      :goodpost:

      jia you!

            hey kids,

this is the last part of the marathon...I know how tired and stressed you have been since the beginning of the year and especially this month...but pick yourself up and sprint forward...remember to do your best and not have regrets after that. :rahrah:

              Nightmares.:
              happyheart:

Has any of your DC practise using questions from P6 'Get Me Thinking'? DS has some worksheets from teacher and I find some questions rather challenging. For those who has seen the questions, would PSLE focus so much on that level of difficulty?

I thought those were PSLE-standard questions? I do it in school.

As time is running short, for those who do not have the above-mentioned worksheets need not rush to get them.
I am aware that Nightmares is a GEP pupil who has already secured a place in NYGHS via DSA. Some of their current curriculum may differ from mainstream.
From my observation. other than year 2009 whereby PSLE maths include some GEP questions, the subsequent years do not. I learnt my lesson after I had diligently drilled my mainstream DD to learn as many GEP challenging maths problems as possible in preparation for PSLE 2010 and she came back from the exam saying none of those questions appeared.
So I believe top school prelim paper should suffice. Just my opinion.

My daughter’s school only started using ‘Get Me Thinking’ books in P6.

I personally find the book good. Would definately recommend it.

I have both the books, personally I find the onsponge book more organise n better in mastering the concepts, \"get me thinking\" is good if the kids already have sound concept as it tried to show case how questions can be phrase differently n different ans as a result ....

They are both good resources 😄

We have both books too. And yes, both are just as good!

As mentioned by Suz855, ‘GMT’ features a particular type of question phrased differently. I also find their step by step easy to comprehend.

Interesting feedback. I am sure it will benefit parents with P5 kids this year! Thanks!
