No improvement at all but considering their affordable fees, I kind of make do with them in the meantime, better than nothing.sleepy:

With fees increase, even that affordability factor has evaporated. No point. I'm withdrawing -

Then seriously no point. Do the kids finish the worksheets fast and end up wasting time while waiting for the teacher to go through?nicnac:
Also.. anyone can advise.. how diff is the HA science from the Science?
Not much difference. Only 1 extra worksheet. The rest is the same as the achiever science. -
Does mindstretcher provide practices for listening compre and oral?

Most of the time, the class size is smaller. My DD does not bring much homeworks compared to Achiever batch. HA class has one or two extra worksheets per month (not so sure)- higher order thinking skills. They are very good but my DD did not benefit from it. She does not really do/understand that higher order thinking skills part. Hope this helps!chowon:

My friend said they revise oral (one class only - before SA1 and SA2). Listening not sure. -

I didn't know they can do experiments too.

HA and Achiever classes cost the same… Just that HA may hv only 1 or at most 2 time slots to choose from.
I find that for the amount of homework they bring home, it depends on the teachers. My child used to bring home 1 set of homework to do but when another teacher took over the class in the 2nd half of the year, everything was done in class. So I asked my child if the former teacher explained more so they had less time to complete their work vs the new teacher explain less and thus more time to do the worksheets… "Yes lor".
I only started the English for 3 months… So too early to tell. Will continue next year and see how it goes before deciding.
Any comments on their Writers ToolBox? I find it very expensive after the price increase though…
My gal does not appreciate their writing style though. Every few week they would hv to do a composition during the regular English class… My gal commented that they hv very very good phrases but they break everything into many many short paragraphs… Eg one sentence in a paragraph. She cannot write that way.
Maths will hv to put on hold… If anyone is willing to sell their notes to me… most welcome. -
Same for wtb. We changed to another slot and this other teacher took effort to explain all the phrases so the writing is most done at home. The previous teacher just wanted to get things done in class so did minimum explanation.
