My daughter was asking me whether she can buy an air fryer.
But when I check the Air Fryer, I find it cannot be cleaned at the top of the heating coil, unless you can somehow unscrew it. Not sure if this can be done.
If just wipe, you can only clean the outer surface ofthe top plate. But, further inside, cannot clean. In the long run, won't it be unhealthy if leftover oil stains are left inside the unit?
I studied the structure and asked the sales lady how to clean the top.
She said 'no need to clean'.
I asked again, 'How can don't clean?\"
She replied, \"Nobody ever asks about this.\"
Then i told my daughter better dont buy coz recycled oil (trapped above then maybe dripped down again) may cause cancer.
Anybody has this kiasiness like me pertaining to this? -
Hi. My friend have the black model and she said it only came with a wire mesh basket.
Anyone know where to buy the baking tin?
The glassware given by Isetan also for use in the air fryer? Anyone has pictures to share with me?

Came across Philips Airfryer at CK Tang selling at $279/-. Salesperson said the new model (digital) coming out soon and will be retailing at more than $300, hence the Promotional price of $279 now.
It is very easy to operate, just put in frozen nuggets, turn the timer and temperature and there it goes…cooked nuggets in 10 mins. Since my 12 year old daughter has been bugging me to teach her how to cook, we thought might as well get one for her as"Christmas Present". She is loving it and has been cooking the nuggets for her little brother and sister. Since then, she has tried wedges, fries etc. They taste good as long as you eat it hot (same thing applies to fried stuff). My mum even tried baked fish (I think Saba fish), by dusting little oil on the mesh wire. We all agreed the fish tasted good.
I have oven too but I don’t think I will let my daughter operate the oven yet. The good thing is that Airfryer has no waiting time (unlike oven) and it is not too big, ideal for few pieces of snacks if daughter feels hungry in between meals. It is also easy to clean. -
My colleague used the airfryer to fry chicken breast. Really amazing when he knock the chicken on his lunchbox, it actually gives off the "tok tok tok" sound. He gave us a piece and it is super rock-liked.
Any suggestions on what to do about that? -
I just bought the XL size yesterday for $479/- and have not tried it yet.
Anyone has tips on using like what to put on the basket to enble easy cleaning. If I use aluminium foil to wrap up the fish and chicken and put them in the basket can it cook? and turn brown too ? Advice needed. Forgot to ask the sale staff.
