Just checking if anyone has similar experiences and can share remedy .
For the last few months, noted that I easily get stomach upset indigestion/ diarrhea / bloatness from food that I eat especially in the evening. I become intolerant to spicy food, oily food and foodstuff like biscuits. Used to be able to eat all these food until recently. Now my diet can only tolerate porridge, small amount of rice and clear soups. Hence, some weight loss too.
Can anyone share the cause or remedy for this .
:thankyou:

RE: Term Holidays for local University students
kennethTutor:
June holiday is the long holiday. Typically it starts mid-late May and ends by early August.nani:
Hi
anyone can advice for nus/ntu vacations in june & dec, do they still have to go back for projects etc?
Appreciate an urgent reply. Thanks
December holiday is the short one. Typically it ends early January.
For academic projects, some projects may last an entire academic year. For example, my Final Year Project (Engineering major) started from July and ended May the next year. My December holidays was mostly spent in school.
Check with your school's office if there's any such projects. They should be able to help you.
For non-academic projects (e.g. CCA or hall-related), students can be quite active during the holidays.
Does this also mean that the student's internship ( overseas or local ) also fall during their holiday break? so it quite difficult to plan for all in the family when there are those in secondary level -
RE: Please share your reviews of spin mops
st2:
Hi I am thinking of buying a Spin Mop and not sure which brand to get. Want to find out more first. Do I need to vacuum the floor first to clear the hair and dust first before using the Spin Mop. What is the lastest good brand in the mkt to buy?I bought 2 years ago when it was quite expensive at Isetan. It works well until the bucket's stepper breaks, I brought it back for them to fix it and it broke again; lasted a little under a year!
Since it is a round disk, you can't push the mop into corners or the sides of the wall where it meets the floor.
Appreciate your comments for guidance. :thankyou: -
RE: All About Air Fryer
janet88:
Can go to \" I Love Philips Airfryer\" facebook for suggestions on the different food menus. I use mine to cook fish and chicken after I have marinated them. Much faster and no need to use oil too. But for fish, it will be turn out to be different from pan fried fish.
don't know about XL size...mine is the first generation one.kids_r_innocent:
The XL sized one can do better right? Do u place aluminum foil at the base?
i always put aluminium foil at the bottom of the tray so that it's cleaner...but oil still leaks. have to buy aluminium foil more often. -

Had the Philips air fryer for a while now, not sure what to really make other than fries, chicken nuggets, seaweed chicken, hotdog..all the usual... getting a bit tired.. i know it can do much more but how and is it nice? Heard it could bake muffins or something but sounds a bit weird, so nvr tried. Also, does anyone know the proper way of cleaning the air fryer and maintaining it? :thankyou:

RE: Should I study medicine?
Claude Monet:
Other than studying Medicine, maybe you could ask your child to consider doing a Masters in Occupational Theraphy, Physiotheraphy or Speech Theraphy. These are the areas that Singapore needs critically. You don't have to fear that there will be no jobs waiting for you. And you don't have to go through a long process of doing a medical course + housemanship.
Repost my question :
to do a Masters in these areas, still need a Basic degree. Can it be a non-related basic degree ?

Thanks 4 the advice. Will think carefully what I really neat before I buy. Tendency to have impulse buying and then become white elephants in the kitchen. -
RE: Microwave cum baking/grill feature oven
Hi,
I am looking to buy a new microwave oven cum grill/baking feature. Can anyone share with me what is a reasonable good brand? Not built in but table top type.
Preferably easy to use too so that my teenage children can use it to heat food and do simple grilling without hassle.
BTW, does the kitchen have s strong cooking smell and floor feels oily after the grilling or baking the food?
:thankyou: -
