I think having orientation just before 1st day of sch is better for the kids...the teachers' faces, school surroundings etc would be more \"fresh\" in their minds when they go back to school on Monday...as compared with having had the orientation 1.5 months ahead of 1st day of school. hahaha. -
Did any of you notice the Maths SA2 for Pri 3 is exceptionally early. It was held today. Last year it was on Oct 23. I wonder if the teachers and parents have enough time to prepare. I believe majority of schools, including top schools, have the main exams after the PSLE marking holidays.

Brush up on the girls’ Chinese for Show n Tell. Someone’s child was in there and I heard they award marks for Chinese Show n Tell too.

that’s why they held maths sa2 for p3 earlier, this year. School has a lot of work to prepare, for the shifting. Did school announce when is the last day of term 4 ? It should end earlier ?
Yes, for p1:-
school has show & tell, both in English & Chinese.
Kids normally no issue with English s&t.
But Chinese S&t - a number can’t express themselves, orally. ESP. More so for those who seldom speak mandarin at home. Chinese tr always encourage parents to speak mandarin at home, to kids. If poor in Chinese oral, writing Chinese Compo will face issue. Because child must talk first, express herself verbally first, before penning down thoughts in writing. -
