did not get any notice about insurance. Maybe it’s for the school – you know, in case the kid gets injured in school, at least you can claim the medical fees back from the insurance co? You know, like how they make you buy insurance if your kid’s in the childcare?
Good for you on your kid’s FT. For me, ok lah, as long as teacher cares for her teachers, snail mail or email is not that important. Just a nice-to-have
-
oops! should be as long as teacher cares for her students. -
Ye my dd’s FT is very nice, kind. She (dd) likes her very much.
yes this one is telling abt the claims n how ye can claim etc… but there is no form/ subscription $$. -
By the way, now we are in the 3rd week...how do you rate the YMCA aftercare? thinkin of switching to that.....I knew there are some earlier posts but lazy to go back n search.... :oops:

Hi parents, did anyone attend the Han yu pin yi sharing session on Sat? Would you mind to share the highlights of the session? Appreciate that.
-

)

Hope those who attended can also add to the sharing :celebrate: -
:oops: just to add to the earlier post, you should be able to find a pdf file located at the top rt hand corner of the page under the heading \"More Information\"
Have fun! -
yes, i did attend the session (although i was a bit late). Then chinese teacher says all the presentation materials will be posted on the website (including the PTC slides which my dd FT just confirmed via email). Think chinese teacher said the web administrator's away, so when he's back (shd be sometime this week), the materials should be available from school's website.
The session is quite informative as it gives a quick run through of the common mistakes & will help parents reinforce correct intonation. Also during break time, Creative Knowledge also displayed some Chinese IT applications. Apparently the entire chinese textbook (from P1 to P6) can be accessed online via a one-year subscription with Creative Technology. The chinese teacher says that to make Chinese lessons more interesting, they do make use of the i-flash book to spice up the lessons
nowadays, learning chinese is such fun... :lol: -
hmmm....then our kids will be \"spec-kies\" soon with some much time on the computer.

-
its true ponyo, nowadays even parents cannot live without the computer :lol: ...we need to be disciplined enough to bring them (& ourselves too!) out to smell the flowers and feel the warmth of sunshine or have raindrops on our heads.
