          Would appreciate all feeback & kind advise regarding \"high sugar level during pregnacy\".

          Currently i'm having 15 weeks pregancy and just knew encountered from doctor that i had a little bit high in sugar level, pls advise
          :?

            Your obstetrician will need to monitor it and do a glucose tolerance test (GTT) soon. This will determine whether you have gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM).

            GDM needs to be properly managed due to many associated complications. Amongst them include big newborns… Depending on the level of sugar, a person with GDM may only need dietary control or further managed with medication.

            And also, women with GDM are known to have increased risk to develop diabetes later in life.

            Need to discuss with your obs.
