Hi All, we are currently collecting information to make up our choice for my son's DSA school. Would like to check with parents here that do RI have O Level class(es) for students that do not perform well academically in the IP setting? Any information is appreciated. Thanks!

      At the moment.. NO.

May be different next year, though..

What happens to those who don't do well? Are they asked to transfer out of the school? What about RGS?
These students would be singled out and given extra coaching and monitored closely by the teachers.. If they still couldn't cope, or had attitude problems, they would be advised to transfer to other schools.

The Year-2 boys were informed of an O Level class starting next year, during the subject-combi talk recently. No details given to parents yet.

So what my elder boy heard from his classmate(s) was true.

So it is true that they have O level class after all. Someone from this thread brushed me off when I mentioned this few mths ago.

Just to ask - exactly when is the last day of school for the Yr 1??

I saw in the school diary that it is 22 Nov, yet Raffles portal said 8 Nov and to get Academic Progress Report on 14 Nov??

              Confused ?

Raffles portal is the more reliable and updated source of info with regards to scheduling.

My son just came back. Did pretty alright for the year 3 EOY exam with the exception of the chinese papers. I am glad. Will be getting geography, ss and chemistry results tomorrow. Hope it will be good too. šŸ™‚

Wow! That's good Piggylala....my son did quite well in Maths 1&2 but I am not happy with his Physics and English results. He says that the results are bad generally, including a few failures in his class šŸ˜ž Nervous about Chemistry too. Seems the teachers said that only 7% of the entire cohort has managed GPA 4.0
