Molest of Young Girls

sigh...
Just as i'm starting to think when should we start to get DD to walk to tuition class on her own... and obviously from there on, later take bus on her own...
At this rate, we'll be too scared to start

Need to teach her not to trust people easily and some self-defence. Some girls are afraid of looking rude, in the end became submissive and become easy target.sigh...

Another instance on the bus. I was sitting right at the end, and alone. Some boys boarded the bus and sat at the long seat next to me. One of them started to edge close to me and started teasing me. Gosh, I couldn't believe how I could hold such a straight face - now I can recall how I develop my poker face :rotflmao: But the guys saw no fun in teasing me eventually, and by then it was time to get off the bus. I said a curt \"Excuse Me\" and looked straight into his eyes and he 'siam' aside to let me go. Phew! -
I still remember clearly… I was 11-12yrs old, going home in the bus, this man kept rubbing his groin against my shoulder… And I naively thought it was accidental so I kept quiet thru out the journey…
But I guess the bus seating designs nowadays make this kind of molestation harder.
Another time, around the same age, at the swimming pool… Someone flashed himself when I was swimming past … My only reaction then was to swim away. -
I printed out that news and I intend to show it to my dds tonight. Especially for my dd who is gg to Sec 1 next year, would propose that if she decides to take the bus home (1 hour journey), she sits at the lower deck iso upper deck… Just in case she falls asleep. So far she is the wary of strangers type. But still think it’s better to educate. So role play on what to do if she meets someone like that.

How old is she? We started letting our girls go around by themselves around 10yo, but only well-defined routes and places in daylight. We also gave them a basic pep talk about how to stay safe (don't walk in lonely places, don't follow anyone anywhere, go to a shop or bus stop for help etc etc). We also told them never to be embarrassed to move away if any person made them feel uncomfortable by getting too close etc. They carried a mobile phone, so I said they should just call me anytime. Risks are everywhere, and we can't protect our kids forever. Teaching them how to survive is better protection than escorting them everywhere, but of course, you have to assess how mature your girl is before you start.sigh...

Hi insider,
The case on the news considered 桃花 too? -

That reminded me of a time when I was in my teenage stage, was crossing the overhead bridge and there was this teenage boy who was masturbating when he was walking across the bridge...we were in opposite direction so I had the full view of his exposure. I just pretended that I didn't see him doing the act, maintain a poker face and walk off. -

I was flashed at once when I was about 14yo. I was with a group of friends and we were so busy talking and laughing that no-one noticed. I also didn't notice at the time, but later on, realised what I had seen. I wonder if he was disappointed at our lack of reaction! I've also had a few men lean too close on buses, and I learned to use my elbows or umbrella to stick into their sides to keep them away. I didn't always want to move as I didn't want to give up my seat and stand! -

I have similar experience.. The groin in bus thing is exactly the same. In Pri then.I still remember clearly... I was 11-12yrs old, going home in the bus, this man kept rubbing his groin against my shoulder... And I naively thought it was accidental so I kept quiet thru out the journey..

And once I was walking to the public library at night, I had to cut across an unlit field. The man on the foot path started to pee when I approached and made those 'zood zood' sound to get my attention.
Another time I was chatting with my friend at a bus stop at 10+ pm. A man sat a the void deck behind the bus stop and pulled down his pants and fixed his eyes on me (my friend had her back to that man)...
