Luxury watches are items of aspiration .

What is not commonly known, is that servicing starts from $500-$700. A strap starts from $500.
i would have tot that is common sense ... if a watch can cost > $10K who would think that their servicing and strap replacement be cheap 😛

Panerai may be a good option, if you happen to like large and "sporty" faces and "oversized" faces. But for resale definitely rolex.

For almost any other watch brand, the depreciation can be quite drastic once it goes into the second-hand market

The Key to Investing in Watch is making sure it is really limited edition.

When I first had $10K in my bank account after working for a year, I remember investing in my first watch for $10K (Cant remember the name) It was not top of the line, but it is limited edition, only 500 world wide.

Managed to sell it with a 30% profit after 3 years.

It does not need to be the top of the line brand name, but limited edition is the key.
