Read in the other thread that unofficial results are out, and the respective school principals of the selected children have been notified.

Is there any confirmation for this?

so much suspense now waiting for the GEP results… any mummies out there do their "homework" in case the kid gets in? I heard parents are given 1 week to decide whether to opt in or out of the program… is that true?

Yes. Somewhere there. By the time you get the big envelop till their briefing about a week later (I think you have only a few days or over the weekend to fax your reply after that.) I think most just dropped in their replies at the talk.

wow! that’s not easy to decide…

can the GEP school reject the transfer to their school if you are keen to put the kid there? maybe because they have enough GEP kids in their school??

Yes. It depends on vacancy available. The schools will have between 2-4 classes. Each with about 25 kids per class.
