      naggo, I don't think it's a matter of time-tabling anymore. It's clearly stated in the briefing that RA bio and math & RA chem and math are not allowed. Maybe you or your son can raise your concerns during the briefing next year.

      Ok. Tks for advice. Actually, I'm fine with this policy. It's just tt when my DS is fed up, I too get a bit affected. It's a v minor setback compared to what many others hv to go through in life.

        Any idea when the boys will be informed of their Year-3 subject combinations ? I hope DS1 will get his 1st choice.. šŸ™

            From what i gather from my DS' n his classmates' experiences, not getting 1st choice is almost unheard of. The school does try its best to meet all choice requests.

                      Should be allowed. GPA3.2 can do 9 subject combi, including the one u mentioned.

                        5 compulsory subjects - English, HMT/MT, Math 1, Math 2, Social Studies.


                        GPA 3.6 & above - Can take 5 additional subjects (Total 10 subjects).

                        GPA 3.2 & above - Can take 4 additional subjects (Total 9 subjects).

                        Below GPA 3.2 - Can only take 3 additional subjects (Total 8 subjects).

                        Subject combination must include at least 1 Humanity (History, Geography, Literature), and only 1 Elective (MEP, AEP, CEP, 3rd Lang). Elective is only applicable to the 9th or 10th subject.
