What about the POPkids School Bag selling at Popular? Thinking of buying one for my boy.

My daughter was using the horizontal design.. coz I thought visually it won't look so big. No issues with the design, etc. But just that I think books aren't meant to be placed horisontally.. they tend to bend and fold. So i suggest that if you choose a horizontal design bag, do not put the books horizontal as well. Try to put the books the normal vertical way. The books' spine is meant for it to stand that way. The books (esp the jotter book) will have a longer lifespan that way.. hahahahaha.

Oh, didn't think of that. It does sounds quite bad. Thanks for highlighting!

Think they will send letter later for P2 on what to bring. I am also wondering 🤷 Class photo will be given by form teacher next year.

or perhaps they genuinely forgot coz they were too bizzi with the P1 prep.

In any case, was told that the P2 kids need to bring similar to the P1 kids… things like :

                    - the usual stationery
                    - pupil’s diary 2014
                    - storybook for silent reading
                    - subject files
                    - art bag
                    - thermometer
                    - Maths Workbook 2A and 2B (to be kept in school)
                    - Mother Tongue Textbook and Activity Books

And in addition, also need to return :
                    - Report Book
                    - Portfolio File (with all the worksheets and school work still intact in the files)

                    Hope this helps.

I do not know whether this applies to me alone or other parents also feel the same. I find that the school likes to inform us about matters/event last minute. At times, we will need to apply leave to attend the event. Believe they need to improve on this aspect.

Would like to hear from other parents view.

Im totally agreed with you! Just like the prize giving ceremony which held on 14-Nov. The kids only received the invitation card on Monday 11-Nov.
