      Advice pls..

i am targeting at north vista pri which is across the road of my hse and i am a sc.. so i will be under phrase 2C right?

any kind parents know the take up rate for the past? pls share... i am so scare that i will end up in ballot and cant get a place.. super worried ๐Ÿ˜ž
You are a SC, but, what about your child?

How far you stay from the school and whether your child is a SC or not do not determine which phase he will be in. If you are not an alumni, PV or grassroot leader, your child will fall under P2C.

Please click on the url below to access balloting history for schools in Seng Kang:

      http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/content/seng-kang

In short, be prepared for balloting.

        Hi there,

I heard that there are 700+ children who do not have seats in 2014 in-take. I have not figured out that what is the Goverment's decision for that and I am really worry for my Phase 3 son for the next year 2015.

Please anybody tell me how is the problem solved?
        Thank you very much!

As far the Government is concerned, this isn't a situation that needs a solution (for it's not even a problem at all!). We would have to bear in mind that the Government's responsibility lies with it's citizen, i.e. the men/women who have the authority to really make them jobless - it's a democracy: if you can't vote, you have no authority.

My solution would be to watch the enrollment figures like a hawk - go for the least popular schools with the biggest number of available vacancies. That should, hopefully, maximise your chance of getting into a local school. The other solution is have a backup plan ready - possibly an international school (if you can afford it) or back to your hometown/country (if no other choice). At least, you won't be caught surprised should things didn't go your way.

Thank you for your replies in two threads. I think it's fair of course.

I would like to ask a question regarding sibling registration. For CHIJ St Nicholas which is a full school, if my dd1 is in the secondary school, will my 2008 dd2 be enrolled under phase 1?

                thanks!

                    Yes, you can.

Chij st Nicholas is a full school, that has both the secondary and primary levels operating at the same address, headed by the same principal.

As such, based on the current primary one (p1) registration exercise guidelines :-
if your elder daughter is currently studying in chij st Nicholas girls' school secondary section - be it the \"integrated programme\" or \"o level\" track -
At the point of p1 july registration, your younger daughter will be eligible to apply under phase 1.

this is possible, because chij st Nicholas is a full school.

More information on p1 registration exercise, can be found on website :-

                        Yes.

whether elder sibling studying in secondary or primary school -
So long as it is a full school, your younger sibling can enter primary 1, under phase 1 (sibling)

In sg, there are only 5 full primary schools :-
                        Catholic high
                        Chij st Nicholas

                        Maris Stella
