        jedamum,

That is such an endearing gesture by your DS ...  šŸ˜„

Were you pleasantly surprised?? Or is it something he does quite often - as in buying you stuff ??

hm...this is the second time he got stuff from the bookshop for me. the first time round, he bought red pens for me to mark his assessment books! :faint:

        jedamum,

Why :faint: ?? I'll be so touched and amused at the same time šŸ˜„

I think you've got such a sweetie of a son lah ... first buying you red pens, then hair clips, what next?? šŸ˜„

I get v tickled when my toddler hugs and then pats me on my back sometimes when I don't see him for a couple of hours - its like as if he's trying to assure me he's fine instead of me trying to assure him šŸ˜„

No jedamum ... I tell you, can't you see the progression your DS is making. He started off with a de-personalized gift, then something a little more personal ie hair clips. I think he'll just get better and better in his selection. Okie, update can when he next buys you something? šŸ˜„

                buds:
Hubs and I were running through DD1's Math

problem sums together & pitching our answers.

As usual DD2 was all ears.

Hubs : How can dis wan equer to seven-too-tree (723) wan?

Me : Yes, really. I checked with her teacher why it is so.. šŸ˜›

Hubs : You show me.. show me how you geddit? Show lah..

Me : See... from this model drawing... this times this... minus
this then divide this you WILL get seven-two-three (723).

Hubs : Then, how about dis wan.. still got one remainder wat?

Me : Yes, i know. But the teacher explained that one boy cannot be
left behind in school after you calculated the rest coming into the no.
of buses available, so he just has to hop on the last bus.

                Hubs : Where got lidat?

Me : Got lah.. see answer page oso seven-too-tree lah! :x

DD2 : Daddy... please. you are making mummy's English become bad.

DD2 : And the word \"what\" comes in front, not at the back of a question.

                Hubs : :x

                Me : :rotflmao:
                HAHA! šŸ˜„ :rotflmao:
