Hi… Sorry to intrude…


May I ask how many boys (approximately) join SJI via DSA - Academics (Math) ? How many rounds of selection do the candidates need to go through, to be finally selected (eg. GAT, Math Test, Interview etc) ?

Is it very difficult to join SJI via DSA Academics, perhaps due to very limited vacancies set aside for each domain/subject ?

Was told that IP school usually offer up to 50% of the vacancy during DSA phrase. After we submit the application form, DS needs to sit for GAT and a interview. My DS DSA under Academic not any particular subject. The reason for interviews is, I believe, they do not select the boys based on Academic result alone, they assess them as a \"whole\" i.e. they personality eg. they have a teacher watch the boys during group discussion. Thanks emoh . that is very helpful. Based on the information that 85 students obtained 6 A1s and assuming these students go to the top 5 jcs , about 21% of the cohort will go to the top 5 jcs. What about the rest? What jcs do majority of the students go to? thks

Some would had stayed on in SJI to do IB in JC 1. Otherwise the other JCs after the top 5 (RI, HCI, VJC, NJC, TJC) would probably be ACJC, SAJC & CJC.

can’t go to the open house but desperately need to know at the most recent O levels, how did the boys perform? i need to know how many percent score 5 distinctions and above in the school. the website did publish some infor on the school performance but no information on the percentage which scored 5 distinction and above…need that to compare with another school.
