      GreenBird:
      Means 250 cannot enter nygh.

Need 253 minimum to get in.
They raise the bar by 3 points.

But not sure when nygh secondary 1 implement.
Is it pupils sitting for Psle 2014 (born 2002), or Psle 2015 (born 2003) batch ?
      Hopefully, implement later better.
Heard from someone who attended that session saying that this year's batch (PSLE 2013) would be the last cohort w 250 affiliation...

        CHC123:

During the P5 MTP session the principal mentioned that the cut off point still remain the same for our batch. But I also heard of those parents who went to NYGH open house this year that the COP going to increase to 253.
Sounds like conflicting messages coming from 2 principals
But at least they're not going to raise the COP to 26x πŸ˜„ On the other hand, a few points increase doesn't seem to be a lot, but it's enough to bar the bottom 20% of the NYPS pupils from going to NYGH ( those who get 250-252) and replace them with applicants with min. score of 26x.
Have to ask my DD to work even harder <sigh>

          Aim for 250 + 3 (distinction in HCL) πŸ™‚

Aiming for 253 T-score is even harder πŸ™‚

Don't think the school will raise the bar to 26x +
Because no matter what, p still have to take care of nyps girls scoring 25x+

Nanyang primary school is affliated school of nanyang girls' high school.

But hwa chong (for boys) is not affliated to Nyps.

It’s above the pocket (if it’s a boy). I had ironed it on but it came off over time. So I machine-sewed it on to make sure it stays on forever and ever.

Hmsg, do you know if we would be using the same p4 booklist as the one given before school closed?

                      You received the tags already?
