      Hi,

I do rebonding.. almost every 9 months.. if not the hairs messy like ghost.. 😢

Ya, indeed become quite dry..and the saloon advise to use those rebonding cream... I do \"highlight\" before, dry like those died grass.. :stupid:

I use conditioner and apply some cream (little bit will do) on hairs everytime after I wash my hair....

Want to be pretty... need hard work...

Yes, I also have dry hair to start with. It gets worse with rebonding every 6 months. After using the salon hair products, hair is now very "tame" and healthy looking. You should try salon hair products though they a bit ex, but worth the money considering you spend so much $ to rebond your hair. Anyway, the purpose of rebonding to make your hair look good, so you should also use hair products that will make your hair look good too. Just my opinion.

I do rebonding every 8 - 9 mths & I coloured my hair roots every 2 - 3 mths. No rebonding cannot tahan - hard to manage (natural curls) & No colouring even cannot tahan - look like old auntie standing next to DH.

I do not have beautiful smooth silky hair but with the help of hair mask, not too bad afterall. I dutifully apply hair mask after every shampooing, leave it 10 - 15mins before washing. After that, I will also apply hair moisturizer. Want to look nice, no choice, die die must kuai kuai do all these steps. My hair mask is not ex, abt S$16 per tub.

            hihi

i’m happy to chance upon this thread - this makes a very good chit-chat topic .

Do u ladies feel that post-pregnancy suddenly lotsa white hair "sprucing all over" ??? I somehow feel the post -pregnancy effect kinda "fertilises the white hair roots" … urgh !!! Cos for me, pre-pregnancy only 1 or 2 strands…but post-pregnancy, i can’t even count how many strands! ! !

So i resorted to colouring recently - once beginning last year…the other late last year…and i realise the colouring resulted in me having "v oily hair" ! ! ! In the past , my habit is always washing my hair once a day every morning…and cos i wash everyday in the morning, i don’t experience "oily hair" but eversince i started colouring my hair, my hair cannot last for a day … eg if i wash my hair in the morning … by evening time, must wash again cos oily ! ! ! ie twice a day… How ???
Anyone experience "oily hair due to colouring" ?

I hv lotsa white hair too. My parents have lotsa white hair, so must be in the genes. I only heard of DRY HAIR due to colouring, not oily hair. Could it be yr diet or did u use a new shampoo??

Instead of rebonding, my hairstylist recommends \"soft straight\". Apparently, it's like rebonding, except that the chemical treatment and straightening technique are less damaging to the hair.

I usually go for soft straight treatment and hair colouring/ highlights twice a year. It's usually around Christmas/CNY period and mid-year.

With regards to hair loss, I do have hair dropping, especially after I wash my hair. For me, I suspect the hair dropping is due to my hormonal changes (i think i may be peri-menopause 😢 ) than because of the hair treatment. But I do see baby hair sprouting on my head, so am most relieved...

Not sure if this bit of info may help. I have been taking Evening Primose Oil for many years. I actually take it to keep my skin healthy and to manage my PMS mood swings. I was sharing this info with a nutritionist and she claims that EPO also helps in maintaining healthy hair.

I wouldn't say my hair is all jet black and glossy but ok lah. No complaints, so far.

Am no hair expert, but it cd be due to our hormones changing that our hair texture and hair colour (black to white 😐 😢 ) differs from what we are used to.

Another possible reason cd be due to the chemicals in the hair products that may cause our hair changes? Or maybe wrong/inappropriate hair product for our hair type?

                    *nodding head* * nodding head**

I also agree it could be a combination of both our hormonal changes + wrong hair colouring product type. Whatever the reason, aging is such a terrible process 😢

I have also been taking EPO for years. How much do you take daily ? In spite of this, my hair has turn pretty much white. EPO did not have an effect on my hair colour. :?

I didn't know EPO helps with hair texture too. I have been on it for years too, primarily for skin. Though I must say that my hair is very black and I dislike it...too dull  So I would highlight it...
