Thanks. We want to apply for O-level.IP or O-level? Why not just try since last year's COP for O-level was 245? Should drop now.
Btw, i was at the open house today and they are already accepting appeals from their affiliated students who failed to meet the affiliated COP of 238.

Hi all,
Am new to this thread. Was considering SJI but am concerned about the high fees. Was also wondering if anyone managed to attend the info day yesterday and what impressions you had of the school and the staff?
Thanks in advance for sharing! -

During the DSA tea session, the VP said \"No boys who is being admitted into SJI will be denied an education there due to financial problem\".Hi all,

When my DS was there during orientation day, he was impressed by the science teacher when he sat for the science trial class. He said the teacher is very friendly and knowledgeable.
When I was 1st time there to submit the application form and was looking for washroom, a boy who saw me looking for something in the canteen approach me and ask \"Hi Aunty, may I help you?\", I'm impressed by the confident and friendly gesture of that boy.
Next, when I was there with my Ds for interview, the counter staff was very friendly and helpful when attending to our queries.
Finally, when we were there for tea session. We were outside the auditorium, heard a teacher talking a group of boys \"Sorry boys, we are having an event in the auditorium later, would you mine lower your volume, thank you.\" Later we found out that he is the Maths HOD.
All these has added points to SJI, firstly I will like my DS to be like that boy I met at the canteen, confident and friendly. Next, the friendly staffs walk the talk by respecting the boys and be a good example to the student. The feedback from my DS after interview is, he felt that the teacher are genuinely interested in him as a person not just numbers.
What I gather from old boys is, SJI has amazing teachers and nurturing environment. Since my DS only wants to do IB and he likes who he sees and feels, this is the school that is best for him.

Basically there would be some form of subsidy from 33% off the school fees + misc fees if your monthly gross household income is below $7200 or per capital income is less than $1800.

Hi,
Does anyone know what is the average class size for SJI sec one for both IP and βOβ level track?
Appreciate your advice very much.
Regards. -
Thank you for your helpful replies, appreciate the insight into the school. By and large, I was impressed by the boys in the school when I attended the info session on Monday, but not so much the staff. But Iβm glad to have the opinions of others so I can make the right decision for my sonβs future. Will look into the subsidies, thanks for the link!

Hi, just want to know the process - do SJI takes in their feeder school students first and then the non-affiliated students after? When do they consider the appeals from both the affiliated and non-affiliated school students?
