On 4 jan 2014 (Saturday), at mount Sinai :-
What time is the orientation on 4 Jan 14? Is it all P1 together?
Very excited ...
All p1 parents to be seated inside the school hall, by 9 am.
Bring your child, right to the front of the school hall.
Because The 9 classes of p1 form teachers (from 1a to 1i), will be standing there, right in front.
Your child will sit according to her class, on the floor -
In Two by two. As everyone wait for all other p1 parents to arrive, your child can sit down, mingle around & chit chat with her new friends, her new classmates. Children at this young age make friends easily
When 9 am starts :-
Our principal (mrs yue) will go up the stage, to address & give a very warm welcome to all 2014 p1 (freshies & parents) into our school.
After this, the form teachers can bring their students down, into their respective p1 classroom. Form teachers have activities already lined up for them, in class.
Parents remain inside school hall - entertained by the various cca groups, put up by the students, who had been training hard for a long period, in preparation for this p1 orientation great day ! There will be singing by choir, Chinese cultural dance performance arts, rhythmic gym sports team, band, etc. sit back, relax enjoy show time !
After the show end, parents can go down to their child's respective classroom, fetch their girl. If you have any concern, this is the best time to speak to your daughter's form teacher. Also, do make new friends with your child's classmates' parents. It is good to exchange handphone, share tips, yak, find new kakis. They will all be hanging around, just outside the classroom.
On 4 jan 14 (Saturday)
Only p1s are involved. Because the other level (p2 to p6) orientation are held earlier, before 4 jan. p1s are the last group of orientation. -
GreenBird:
Thank you Greenbird for the useful info. Suppose the girls need wear uniform, right?

Hi parents, not sure if it’s the right place to ask here.
I am looking for P4 Perfect Match Art Textbook by Pearson Education
Anyone has this textbook which you are willing to pass down to my DS? I am thinking to use old book for him as I hope to save some penny for buying the workbooks for core subjects.
Please do help if you have.
Please PM me please. I can arrange to pick up at your place.
TQ. -
